I am a self-taught artist with an adventurous spirit who is always looking for new mediums to inspire me. My most recent journey is painting with encaustics. This involves the melting of colored waxes on a warm iron and applying it to a multitude of surfaces, encaustic paper, wood, glass, gessoboard etc. It can be manipulated, changed and removed very easily. My goal as an artist is to invite the viewer into my paintings and make them feel what I am trying to express.
